I have just found out that I am pregnant. I have been having really vivid dreams for a few weeks. Could this be related?

Hopefully i wont have to wait long but last time i went to 42+3 so i could have another 3 weeks to go!
That would be a lovely birthday pressie for your fella. Are you going to find out what youre expecting? when will you tell your sons?

Congratulations carrie :)
During my first pregnancy, I kept having dreams that I had a baby boy even though I knew from the scan it was a girl. I also kept dreaming of sleeping "him" in a drawer because I didnt have a crib!!
I dont recall much in the way of dreams 2nd time round, but they may be because I got very little sleep with everything else!! lol

I'll tell the boys when I'm at the 'safe' 3 months stage. My sons' birthday is the end of May, so that will be a good present for him. He is desperate to be a big brother! I might find out but not sure. My fiance had a dream when we had only been together a few weeks that we would have a boy. V. scary
Congratulations Carrie, I'm in the preggy club too and due on may 22nd, feeling rather fed up already! I have a 4 year old boy and expecting a girl! Don't know what will hit me when she arrived, our house is very boy orientated!
I had terrible nightmares with my first, used to wake up terrified. But this time I'm not having so many that I remember, the ones I have had have been a bit silly!
They do say that you will have a lot of strange dreams in pregnancy, guess it's the elusive hormones again!
Well congrats and keep us updated with your bump, it's all very exciting! x x x

I had very vivid dreams in early pregnancy particularly - in fact, that was why I did a test the 2nd time I was pregnant! I had been having the same type of dreams, as if they were in neon colours or something, I didn't have a regular cycle and had only just stopped breastfeeding my baby who was about 5 months when I found out I was pregnant again!
That's good to hear littlemiss- twins run in my family and when i went for my scan I told them to make sure that they checked everywhere to make sure that there was only one. Just as well, 'cos twins really freak out my husband - he thinks that it is so weird that they look alike (we have both identical and non-identical twins on my side).
