Weaving - how to 'cast off'?
1 Answers
In weaving, how do you bind it off so that it can't all be pulled off the warp threads? I've tried just knotting the warp together in pairs and tying the end of the weft to the end knot, but I'm sure there's a tidier way of doing it. Thanks!

One way is to use the same thread you use for the warp to weave another 1in or so, then fold, tuck under, and stitch the end. (Like towels).Or, examine the frills on the end of a woollen scarf where half-a-dozen threads are tied together.
