i currently work 5x5 hr days. i would like to change to 3 long days to save on childcare costs. can anyone suggest any companies that do this type of working? i currently earn 12.50 an hour so working in the supermarket or something would mean a big dropin money....however if anyone knows if this would be made up for in tax credits then i would be willing to do that sort of work. i currently administer support for 3 databases and compile reports from data extracted from the databases.

the NHS has been very flexible for me and my colleagues. Most companies that advertise for staff now state if they have flexible hours or not.
Have you asked your employer if they would allow you to change your hours? You may find that they would agree rather have you leaving to go to another more flexible job.
