USB stick

I have been given one as a present, and forgive my ignorance, but I don't know how to use it.
It came with no instructions.
I put it in the PC and it is there under "My computer", but how exactly do I transfer stuff onto it?!

Lots of ways. If you just want to transfer one photo from 'my pictures' you can right click on the picture and click 'send to' and click on your usb drive in the list.

You can send them in a batch in exactly the same way - click edit and 'select all' first.

Or you can open Windows Explorer and drag and drop.
