Sore middle toe, not swollen, just sensitive - any ideas
2 Answers
I am due to see my doctor anyway so I will mention it then, but it is particularly painful today and I am just wondering if anyone might have an inkling of what is wrong. In the pub lunchtime, Gout was mentioned as a possiblilty, but it is only in this toe.
It isn't painful as such, only when pressure is felt against it, but that said, I am always "aware" of it, if you get my drift. The pain is akin to what you get when your fingers or toes are very cold - you know the toe or whatever is there but it just feels numb.
Any ideas anyone?

I think the way I would describe gout is agonising and I don't get that immediate impression from your description. Maybe an infection or poor circulation to that toe. Good luck anyway with the docs, let us know how you get on.
