Lol Josie!
A few years back, I went to visit my mum and step dad (together for 15 years, not married). We went to see my aunt, and I got to play with my cousins who were 4 and 7 at the time.
The youngest was laughing, syaing "your daddy has a beard!".
I explained that my step dad wasn't actually my "daddy".
*shocked wee faces*
Oh dear....
So did your mummy get you out of her tummy by herself?
I thought babies had a mummy and a daddy?
Did John (my step dad ) steal your mummy?
Are you still my cousin?
Wished I'd never bloody said anything...lol

yeah, randyraven, it must have been 1975/76 !
I absolutely loved the Rollers and had all the gear. Everything in my bedroom was tartan and I would always wear my Bay City Rollers trousers to go into town on a saturday afternoon. I understand now why my mum didn't want to walk round with me lol. I once bumped into one of my teachers and he said 'I didn't know the circus was in town !'
I used to watch Shangalang and kiss the tv screen when Les was on !!
