whole episode a dream

a tv programme, possibly a detective type series (colombo?) or maybe not at all, where the main character couldn't read anything all episode, letters were all wobbly, and it turned out it was because the whole episode was a dream and reading/dreaming use different sides of your brain. please help.

This happened in an early episode of "Sleepwalkers" (with Bruce Greenwood and Naomi Watts). As the whole of the (unfortunately short-lived) series was about a bunch of scientists had a machine that enabled them to enter people's dreams, it's probably not what you're thinking of!

It should explain it better - I cant understand it myself but it's to do with html and putting paragraphs in - that's the bit I don't get - cause when I reply I use paragraphs but the weird letters and codes don't appear - hope this helps make it a bit clearer - perhaps as clear as mud

Jesus, some big brother s**t going on here I never put that in my message. I'd guess a symbol of some kind being "converted". Thanks muchly for the answers.
