UK Gas Fire

Is a UK spec flueless mains gasfire bought new in the UK compatible with Australian specifications ? ie will it work when it is connected to the gas outlet in my house in Queensland ?

All U.K. designed appliances are set up to run at the U.K. Gas pressure of G20. ( 20mbar). I am unsure at what pressures are used in OZ but i think it is 0.9kpa and am unsure if this is the same as our 20mbar measuring system. If it is then it will work fine just so long as porpose provided ventilation of 100cm2 is installed as well.
