Hehe....What do you say to folk who ring you up (again) asking you about *local services* .....

I've just had one gentleman ringing me to ascertain whether I received my free weekly newspaper this week... I decided to adopt the same accent as he had and replied to his Q, "Did you receive your free newspaper this week?":-

"I hope not..... I do not wish to receive this paper... I have asked you a million times not to put one through my door and yet you keep on doing this... when will you lot realise that I do not want this paper put through my door... you are useless and do not listen to me... you need to go back to school and learn to listen to people when they tell they do not want a free newspaper pushed through their door .... are you understanding me now ??? goodbye"

(all said very rapidly in a ranting voice.... lol)

and then I hang up....

Hiya gonzo...

Yep, I have actually put up notices on my front door, requesting *no junk mail, no free newspapers, no leaflets, no flyers please*.... I have also emailed the publishers and authors of the free newspapers and they agreed not to deliver them to me..... grrrr
It's true, they seem to have a built in sensor that they know what time you're coming in from work.

I always say the person they want is dead and I am house clearing!!
