i want to go to uni september 2009 to do nursing, i am a single parent and as the course is full time will be unable to work. is there anything i will be entitled to??

you will be entitled to the nhs student bursary and on top of this you will get extra for being a single parent, also childcare costs can be added on.
get in touch with your uni and ask what else is avaiable
Tuition varies loads from area to area for other courses -have you looked on Scottish websites to see if this makes any difference to your course fees?
if you are doing the nursing diplma and not the degree you get the bursary and dont have to pay fees at all.

Nursing is a practical subject and can not be learnt without interacting with people.you can't get a BA in nursing online. However you can get a Associate degree in nursing online.
You will find that associates degrees, online bachelors degrees, online university and certificate and certification programs are available in more than 100 fields of study.
