I work in the local bus station and you wouldn't belive the amount of people who leave their purse or bag on the bus. Most of them never get handed in to us apart from the carrier bag with just over 3000 in it. It belonged to an elderly man who had just been to the bank and he left a reward for the driver - 1.

My son found a mobile phone on a local park, brought it home and through managing to access the camera part, my daughter recognised one of the girls in a photo and my son knew where she lived (via knowing her brother). So we took it round apologising profusely that we had furkled around with her private photos...! She was very grateful and lucky that it my little fella who found it and not some chav who would've probably kept it!
