Squeeky wiper blades

I recently had a new windscreen fitted and the wiper blades squeek every time they are used, even in a constant downpour. Can anybody offer a solution for this problem please. TIA, JD

You probably have a little grease and grime build up, best thing to do is to clean the wiper blades wil some white vinegar, this usually does the trick.

Wash the car, and use Autoglym Clear Glass Polish (the baby blue coloured label). Apply to windscreen and wipe off after two minutes. Wipe the blades with the same cloth after you've polished the glass.

Autoglyn ,is worth a try... i guess rthe windscren cleaner.... but dont holfd your breath.. for a remedy ...... Were these new replacement wiper blades bought from MAIN DEALER (original manufacturers equipment ? )... or sourced non original , imean halfords , trico, ** , valeo , Bosch , would be catorgorised as "NON original"..... not souced from maun dealer.... although BOSCH for example are fiited NEW in the factory on many german cars ........ dont think this repl;y will assist a great deal....

Do as Thisspace posted above and also get your self a very good screen wash I have used Auto Glym screen wash for a long time now and found it to be the best, Treble up on the mixture they say, this will keep the screen grease free, clean and wiper squeak free, it really is the best screen wash I have ever used. Try it and see, I cant speak highly enough for it.I have in the past used this also on a rag and wiped the blades, makes a big difference.
