MM Links Solutions April 2008 [Week 3]

This third week in the reign of Lady Lysander was another "big pointer" for the lucky ones! I can now reveal the chosen links were:

CHEESE Cake
Flower POWER
WITCH Craft
Show STOPPER

Quite a mixed bag ~ with one of the links holding out longer than expected.

The easiest to spot perhaps was FLOWER POWER which went almost immediately and provided lots of bonus points for the �early birds�. It began with ulysses100 at 09.01 and was quickly followed by Christiana, jan1956, Pauline, Jools, AllyLally & JMR27 in that order. Only patchett and those following failed to meet the two-minute window when bonus points dry up.

In fact, JMR27 made a double killing and stopped the show with her FLOWER POWER and SHOW STOPPER. This double whammy is a repeat of last week�s performance, when she again picked up four points to bring her running total for the month to a massive EIGHT POINTS. This makes her the undisputed HOT SHOT of the WEEK!
*** Trumpets sound and drums roll ***
*** Banners wave and crowds cheer ***

With the clock standing at only 09.04 Entrant #19, beejay1124, cast a spell with WITCH CRAFT and found the third link word. And there the game stood locked for over two hours until ex-champion wickedtongue found CHEESE CAKE quite tasty and picked up the last bonus points. Well done for spotting the last link!

The League Table after this third week is looking quite healthy:

EIGHT POINTS: JMR27
SIX POINTS: Jools
FOUR POINTS: AllyLally, beejay1124, burgess, forward, keyboardix, sarumite, kettledrum & slaney

These are the current leaders, but will they last the course? Many have fallen at the last fence!

whoopee and yippee! I shall enjoy being hotshot if only for a week after the miserable efforts I've made over the last few months. As crofter says I could well fall at the last fence and knowing my luck I'll probably be head first into the water!

It has taken me 27 minutes to get this far since logging on to AB!! With only five posts on here I imagine others are having the same problem! Why, oh why?!

I'm staying with the chasing pack .. not too far behind, and may have to implement a cunning plan to hit the front next week?? Ah well I can at least daydream!! (S)
