BT Internet problems

We have BT boradbond, we couldn't get onto any websites yesterday afternoon for aboutt 2 hours. -it just kept coming up with cannot connect to website, on all websites tried. Did anyone else have this problem, TIAx

I am with Tiscali and I often get this!

Sometimes you have to grin and bear it!! I think.

I am in the process of switching to SKY broadband as soon as I get my MAC number.

if that happens again, pull the power cable out of your router, give it 10 seconds or so and plug it back in. Sometimes it can be your router so that will solve it, otherwise it's just BT's shoddy attempt at a broadband service

I sometimes get this with Virgin Media ,. Does your BT homepage enable you to check if there are any periods of maintenance in your area on the broadband ? x

I'm with BT too and we have had problems with the connection all weekend,my son was not amused as he was trying to play Final Fantasy XI on XBOX live and the connection kept dropping.It has been playing up a bit this morning too.

It just went off again and i've had to reset my router for the 3rd time already today. I am not a happy BT customer right now!!!

It seems fine now - no problems, it did it last Sunday too. Like yousay i will hae just to grin and bear it. One thing that i will say about BT, we had problems with our original booster dropping out all the time, you had to switch it off and wait for it to boost up again. We complained to BT and eventually they sent us a new wireless broadband router - had no problems with it dropping out since. (apart form the problems this weekend, but i don't think that is releated as there was a connection). Thanks again for you answers.
