more than likely the left one, but listen for a thud as you drive over bumps and which ever side the noise comes from that is the 1 thats gone.
jack the front of the car up.
grab each wheel in turn at the top and bottom. push and pull hard, if they move/knock , the bearing has gone.

hi.
the noise is a humm, which gets louder the faster you go, and transmits from the front of the car. as previously said, when you turn the steering left, just off of centre to full lock at any speed, the noise goes. I do know that when this happens it is usually a wheel bearing and some experienced mechanics can tell by this which side it is likely to be, but unfortunately I don't know any mechanics, and he haynes manual isn't giving much info.
thanks.
jack the car up at the front and spin the wheel as hard as you can manually, put your hand on the suspension strut, if you feel a grinding noise then the bearing has gone.also as markja says check for any play.
Apart from whats been said, It sounds like the Universal Joint is on the way out.
