I have a left over beef joint from last w/end that I put in the freezer.

It was a bit on the tough side but I don't want to waste it, so would it be OK to chop it up and put it with the spaghetti Bolognese (for 4 people) I intend to cook today?

Hiya Rtaxron

You could put it throught the food processor so it ends up like mince - not pasty but roughly chopped consistency and that'll make a lovely spag bol
would slice it lightly seal in a frying pan with some onions take meat out of pan make gravy with the oinons pour over meat in cassarole dish put in the oven on a low heat for about one half hours should be tender make some veg there,s your sunday dinner

Thanks for both replies,

I did both of them as the joint was bigger than I thought.
Had the Spag yesterday and the beef casserole will be tonight's dinner. yummy.
When I freeze meat left over from a joint I always slice it and then put it in gravy before putting it in the freezer. This does improve the meat a little but if you find it is still a little tough you can chop it to add to pies or stews as you wish.
