Men who dye their hair!

Do you think men should dye their hair? I think
men look more sophisticated with greying locks!

So just why do men look crap with dyed hair and women look good, just as women look crap with grey hair and men look good? It know it's a fact, but why?

I think its down to the loss of pigment as people age, women will use make up to retain some radience where as men will get paler as they get older and they often choose the colour that their hair was when they were 20, making it look to harsh and false looking.

me also look okay with grey hair and of course women are less superficial about mens attractiveness

No way i had a bad exsperience with my girlfriend once and she died my hair, and the colour turned out to be violet lol.I had to shave my hair off. I could of killed her lol

I think this proceedure belongs in the same area as any other 'enhancement' - it's not about what you look like, it's all about what you 'think' you look like.

For women, basic appearence enhancements - make-up, jewellry, nice clothes etc. are considered perfectly acceptbale, wheras in men, they are still (although attitudes are changing as generations move on) - considered to be frivolous vanity.

If I had enopugh hair, I wouldn;t think about dying it, because i think unless it is done very very well, and updated often - it will always be obvious, and look faitnly foolish - even Sir Thumbs Aloft got it badly wrong!

I appreciate the confidence that allows me to care less about my physical appearence as I get older, but not everyone is that fortunate, and i would never decryy anyone's right to make themselves feel as good as possible about themselves.

If it's being done to appeal to a lady - don't bother! Women appreciate men for who they are, not what they look like. If you are old enough to be going grey, and you think your wife / partner is bothered by it, you are with the wrong woman!

andy hughes, thanks for your views, I know most people want to keep up appearances and I am all for them doing so the point I was making that I think greying male locks are acceptable .
