Can`t get graphics to work

The graphics on my pc are all weird. I can see most of it , but parts of it are just red boxes. Any idea how I can fix it?

What do you mean by "graphics"?

Do you mean the desktop when Windows loads? Or is it red from the moment you switch it on? Or just in a particular piece of software? When playing a graphically-intensive 3D game?

As a general rule, get the latest graphics driver for your video card....

If it is a seperate video card (not built onto motherboard) that also sounds like it might not be seated in the slot properly, take card and and put it back in again.
