Well ive been to Birmingham today and my bloody feet are killing me!
Ive bought helliebobs birthday present so im chuffed! and no, i aint telling ya hun so don't keep asking ;-)
I also just wanted to say a big thank you to slow jo who met me and treated me to a slush puppy! Well she actually treated my little man to one and he didnt want it ) same thing lol Its been years since i had one of those! !!!!
Next stop, Liverpool!!!!
Which City do you love to shop in, if any? Which City did you hate?
Went to London this weekend. Haven't been since I was a kid! I have been saving since january so went on a bit of a shopping mission! Lol! Went round to see all the sights with the kids, then did some shopping, then decided I hadn't done enough shopping so stopped at Lakeside on the way home! x
I used to love shopping in Hull when I lived there, they have some really good shops and it is so cheap too! Nowadays I do all my shopping online because its quite difficult to shop in Preston or Blackpool when you're in a wheelchair as I am. I'm glad you had fun jules.x
We had a great time! Went on the Eye! Was terrified as I am scared of heights, but it was fantastic! If you ever fancy coming shopping this way, let me know. you know I am always up for a bit of shopping! x
Do you ever manage to get back to leics daffy? We have this massive new part of the shires opening soon, hopefully it will be good! I prefer anywhere to here to be honest. :-(
daffi, not sure i could handle the eye! good on ya ;-)
I like Birmingham too but my favourite place is Bath, I also like Bristol and noe Exeter has a new shopping precinct its wicked. As much I love the bigger cities for shopping, I like those that have quirky streets.
There is no city more victoriana christmassy than Bath, it looks fantastic in december.
The last time I was in Leicester was when my brother got married about 15 years ago.His wedding was at the big catholic church near the Crown Courts. His reception was at the Univesity.I never got chance to have a nosey around as we were only there for the day. I'm trying to convince my fiance to drive us down for a day in the summer because he is into Roman history and you know how Leicester is full of the stuff.lol
Hi jules, yes i like Brum too especially Oasis market.I haven`t really been to any other cities apart from Glasgow with weeal but i am going to Manchester a week on saturday.
I agree with you there Goodsy, i love the little back streets in the old towns and cities with the quirky unusual shops. York was nice for that and one place i really want to go is Chester.
daffy, i think you will find leics has changed an awful lot in the last 15 years! You definitely must come back for a nose!
Ah that Brum, I thought you meant the kids tv programme!
I like Bluewater but havent been to any other big shopping centres lately to compare it too. In comparison to ones I have been to, Bluewater is definately better. The last time I was there though I had to sit down and let my my boyfriend and daughter carry on with out me as I was rather big by then lol I learnt its not good to join in the Halloween ghost hunt around such a big place when youre pregnant!
God I think i've asked, like, TWICE! And I knew I wasn't going to get told anyway! And to make matters worse Jules, I told Rich you had got my present too, so now he's going to ask you what it is so he can wind me up! Not fair! ;)
errr helliebobs, no offence huin but i did ask a questiuon here ;-) LOL
nah nah nah nah nah!! I know what Rich is getting you and soon my pretty, Rich will know what i have got you!!!! Mwah Might tell CB too! ;-)
psy, i would like to go to Bluewater but i just love Brum, not just the Bull Ring, all of it as a City. I tend to find all the major shopping centres a bit samey! Do love meadowhall though !
