i know this is a long shot, i believe the song was a b side to a record. the song is called the city of tears or just city of tears. sorry but i do not know the artist, or the exact year as i said i know it is a long shot, with not much to go on. thanks.

It's not "Valley Of Tears" by Buddy Holly. is it? 60s is possibly a bit late though, because he died in 1959.
