How long do your kids spend online?

I have 2 young kids who use computers at school which encouraged me to buy a second hand computer for them. It is in the 'den' and I have put parental controls in place so am not worried about anything untowards. We have debates about how long they are allowed online - I say a maximum of an hour on a school night, two on a Saturday and none at all on a Sunday. Do you think I am being too strict?
