weed burners

I am thinking of getting a weed burning gun. Are they any good. Can anyone give me any pro's and con's please.

I bought one last year, easy to use but some stubborn weeds will require another
blast a few weeks later. You don't have to burn the weeds, just swep the wand over them, the damage caused by the shock to the roots is enough to kill off the weed. Of course safety first, keep the gas canister well away from the wand when not in use.

Based on the results using a small blowlamp, I'm looking out for one. Must be about time they appeared in Lidl again.

I have one, they are great fun!!
Just a warning, once or twice the flame has shot up the wand. Didn't have an accident, but you have to have your wits about you, in order to turn off the gas pronto.
