awsome weekend

morning all, i back to work now, we had awsome weekend down Devon's beach for the kitesurfing festival. i had my first go on power kiteing, it is awsome, and i m going to buy a kite,wohoo.
it is also my first camping, we stayed in the tent, was freezzing tho, as been raining lots on saturday nite, but such a good fun to cook baked bean in the little pan and making hot coffee outside door,:))))

Sounds like you had a great time. : ) I tried my hand at kitesurfing a while back...it was amazing but very hard to do, ...what was the festival like?

Wow, you two are brave, I'd be frightened that I would float off into the sunset!!!!

hi funnygirl, yeah, im not brave either, but i tried the smallest kite which is only 2 metres length, but the wind is still strong enough to drag you away tho, i almost killed few people.

we were lack of experience tho, we set off at 3 clock in the morning on sat, and arrived there about 8ish, everybody still sleeping!!! so we set our tent up, had a nap before we started doing anything. about 12 ish, lots people on the beach with their kites already, there was a kiting compitetion at 1 clock. you can see hundreds different type of kites in the sky, really cool. the music event started about 7ish opn the camping site, but me and gravy were so knackered, both fallen asleep and didnt wake up until mid nite, aggrrrrrr, missed the performance and drinking session.
