7000GBP criminal damage to a car
a guy at work has been arrested for crim dam to an other employees car (the police did not process the car). the guy arrested was drunk in a bar on the night it happend and got carried to his bed. the next day an object (police think it was used to damage car) was found in the roof space of the corridor where this guy sleeps (the guy was out at the time the object was found).finger print have been taken but the guy concerned thinks there could be his prints on the obect because its an every day item. to make matters worse the guy was found sleeping in the corridor at 5am near to where the object was found (2pm) but he has no memory of this. he has admitted in interview that he got out of bed to be ill and went back to bed again. a third party has been heard goining around work saying he saw the arrested person with the said object in his room (and he has been interviewed by the police). i woke up the arrested person the next day and did not see anything. these two guys dont get on at work and i feel there this guy could be getting his own back (he not car owner). what are the likely out comes if the guy is convicted? how does he go about the finger print issue? and how does he go about dealing with this other person saying this stuff about him?

I think it's A. You're mate got ******, acted like a ****, damaged a car and didn't even have the sense to hide the incriminating evidence properly.
What should happen to him? I bet if he got thrown in jail until he owned up he'd soon remember that he did it.

yes his print is on the object, how many other prints? partials? who had access to this,
if he was as drunk as you describe it was probably him
remember its not what youve done, its what you do to proved it wasnt you!
