Does anyone know how you can treat ark eye?

The standard treatment for diagnosed Arc Eye is anaesthesic eye drops, eye padding and analgesia.

as a welder myself miffy i often get arc eye...best thing i ever found was my mums homemade remedy! she grows a herb called eyebright then boils this in water to produce a blackish liquid,this is then bottled and can be kept in the fridge for up to two years...soak it up on some cotton wool and swab the affected eyes for amazing results...should be able to find details of how to make this on the net somewhere! good luck:)

Thanks chaps. It's my boyfriend who had it and he didn't know what to do with himself, the pain was so bad. He normally wears protection but the area he was welding was small and he thought it would be a quick job -therefore ok......!
