can sometimes log on. have been advised to use mozilla firefox . will this cause any conflicts? my pc is working fine and am having no probs getting on any websites.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.nope no conflicts at all, you can run as many browsers on your computer as you want, you may find firefox is faster than IE in general but can't see it will cure a specific facebook login problem, facebook does just stop working for a few minutes occasionally so that is more likely to be the problem.

I agree with Marky. Firefox at present does seem to be the front runner of web browsers. I'm a Mac user and I've had to concede that the Mac own-brand browser Safari isn't as quick as Firefox.
At work we're implementing a new web-based workflow system and the installers recommend using Firefox.

I have been using Firefox since Christmas and prefer it to IE.
It does however have some drawbacks, for instance on AnswerBank, the 'Recent Posts' pod won't refresh. On some other sites there is some loss of functionality when posting replies on forums/BBs (no smilies or formatting available on MSN Groups for example).
As markysngc says, you can have as many browsers as you want so you can always open up another window with a different browser just to access one particular site if you so wish.
