Pouring Rain in Yorkshire

Does anyone else find it quiet therapeutic to listen to the rain against the window whilst in bed? I struggle to sleep at the best of times but for once am happy it's bucketing down!

Strangely though, I've been brought up surrounded by deaths of people close to us, and each funeral tends to get more "pleasant" - which sounds unforgivable of me, but it's true. We try to think good things about the deceased, and to forget the long faces.
dabbees - send her up here - it's lashing it down! Sorry to hear about the funeral. The last funeral I went to was my husband's, who was killed in a tragic accident and we held a private service for family and close friends and then a sort of celebration of life service for everyone else, he was only 33, so we wanted everyone to remember how he was during his 33 years with us.
