If you see one magpie it's supposed to be bad luck! But if you see one magpie, say from a car, and then 50 yards later you see another!! Is that two magpies or one magpie twice??

When does one become two?

If you see the two magpies at the same time, or just one, then seconds later, that would be two.

If you see one, and then a minute later, you saw another, that would be one magpie times two. Then again, it's more of an opinion. Some might argue that if you see 1 magpie, and then 3 hours later you saw another, thats another, so you've seen two magpies - it's opinion.
Depends if it's the same magpie
