my insurance company offers breakdown cover as an extra on my motor policy, may be worth you checking if yours does the same, it works out far cheaper than taking out the breakdown cover directly.

Not that I've ever had to use it (You just know I'm gonna regret saying that!!)
This is the best I have found and use......

42. 50 and covers you for everything, if you go to others like the AA or Rac they quote from slightly lower prices but they are only for basic cover, if you want the full cover with them it can be over 100.

I have used them once and their service was better than the big companies.
Don't trust Touremans answer. He only drives pedal cars and attends the local nursery.
I'm with green flag, have always turned out within the hour but never got me going at the side of the road, so always a garage..check the small print as they only cover a bit of the work.
Otherwise can't complain about them.

Thank fully I got cover for a trip to Europe for 31, broke down and they've just refunded nearly 3oo, so well worth it.
