Awful but original! lol

When I was little, I had a drink from what I thought was a bottle of diluted orange squash ( well it was in an orange squash bottle and looked like it had been diluted!) It was actually used cooking oil!!! Eurgh!!

I once put 4, yes 4 heaped spoonfuls of salt into my Grannys tea thinking it was sugar, she'd been in the garden and was parched, took the cup from me and downed it in a oner (almost) I can still see the horrible realisation in her eyes as she tried to run to the kitchen on her stick thin legs in order to be sick!!!

I once found a bowl of what I thought was custard in the kitchen when I lived with my parents. I went to eat it and realised it had a non-vanila smell. It was fabric conditioner that my brother had poured out. He was 4 at the time.
I once made a cup of tea with a bag of dried herbs. It was horrible
Hi leela, nice to bump into you again. Do you still want that fresh orange juice?
Has anyone had a sugar/salt accident?
Yes, a French student we had staying with us many years ago in a fish and chop shop. He reached for the big cellar of salt and I'm afraid I wasn't quick enough to get the message across that it was actually sugar : )

Mind you, my parents ended up buying him some more chips.
I mis-read a recipe once and used 2 tablespoons of chilli powder instead of 2 teaspoons!!!
