karcher technique

bought a karcher ser today as i borrowed one recently and was impressed.the set i have is very good on patio/slab cleaning but when i used it on the car i did,nt rate it compared to elbow grease and a sponge. i know it won,t compare to one at a garage and i wondered if any one had any tips for cleaning the car with it say not using karchers own cleaning tablets or some other tips possibly

Karcha high pressure washers should not be used on car bodywork ! They will cause damage.

Stay with the sponge.

cheers for the advice, however i was using the car wash brush and not the lance which is adjustable from gentle rinse to paint removal.
common opinion amongst mates is that nothing is better than the sponge and elbow grease, backing up your reply
