Taken off her IMDb page (edited to put on here
I've been a fan of Ayshea: the singer, model, actress, presenter etc. since rushing home to watch her on 'lift off (with Ayshea) in the late 1960s/early 70s
Any info I have has all been sourced only from the internet and I could find nothing from Asian mags. There's pics from her lift off/UFO heyday era and pics and articles from look-in magazine and her in town. There's also stuff on her parents/grand-dad/schooling in London and trivia based on things she said or questions she was asked.
There are one or two remaining copies of Lift off shows available through Granada TV to buy at VERY high prices (between 100 and 250 I seem to recall when they wrote to tell me) for the 20 min programmes - each! (remember Ollie beak the owl on her show?). If anyone buys, I'd love to see it. The rest have been wiped.
There is one very brief video with audio of her within the last 10 yrs or so as a motivational speaker on the net under the name Ayshea de Haviland (or Hauiland sic for searches) which will be of interest to fans. Let me know if you can't locate this.
She was an interior designer I believe in the US in the 1990s (I think she still lives in California) but I can't find any pics since the 70s, e.g. with her (not so megafamous) film producer husband at premiers etc. but she's since been divorced. Don't know if rumours of her marriage to Roy Wood in the early 70s took place. He did write songs for her and included her on vocals in his band sometimes.
