Does anyone have a tempura mattress?
Do they help with bad backs and are they worth the money?

I used to wake up every morning in pain when I was on my previous matress, but now on the Tempur I get a great night's sleep and no pain on waking. I'd highly recommend Tempur, even though they are quite pricey.
We spend about a third of our lives asleep, so it really is important to invest in really good matress.

My husband suffered with back pain and he wanted to get a tempur mattress, I was a bit worried because it was expensive and obviously I would have to sleep on it too!
It took a little while to get used to but my husband wakes pain free and I actually like it too.
When we spend a night elsewhere we can't wait to get to our own bed because of the comfort. Ours has a rubber/plastic cover on it which I thought we would sweat but it's been fine.
Shop around or maybe go for the 60 day trail period one.

Beware some of the cheap memory foam mattresses - you will sweat and be far too hot. Not all of them, but a lot of the cheaper ones have this very nasty effect.
Also, if you suffer from restless leg syndrome this mattress will not be suitable for you -your legs need to move freely. As you are lying in a depression, your legs will seem 'trapped' and you will wake exhausted
