I posted this on How it Works but no-one replied.

Anyone know, if you email Ed and ask to be removed from AB, does he remove all trace of you, all your questions and answers, or do they all stay on the site?

Hiya

If you request to be from the site and state your reasons why, the Ed should remove your username and all your posts from the site. She's done this in the past anyway, so I assume that 'rule' is still ongoing.

Thanks red, I've noticed that! Several people threaten to leave but I wonder how many actually go?

why would you want all your questions and answers removed, have you been ill in a hotel room in blackpool.

i think they have to keep a copy of all your postings (answers and questions) for legal reasons for around 3 years ?????????????????????????????????

Looking through some posts, it sounds like a lot of people actually know each other in real life? I thought you are supposed to keep your real identity secret.

Have any ABers met up in person?
i have never met another aber. i only talk to local people

Hi DrFilth,

Don't particularly want my Q and A's removed, I was just curious as to how someone can go, then come back, if they were a troublecauser ......... Ed would know that they had already been on the site if previous posts are kept. Oh, can't very easily put this into words, so I will give up!

Thanks for reply.
depends from where they log on from.it is very easy to create a new email address when you are into computers and know what you are doing. i have to be shown how to turn it ON lol
