.....(possibly thinks she is a mermaid), and possibly Australian. This was one episode of a childrens show - does it ring any bells with anyone?

Could it have been an episode of 'round the twist'?

they had one episode where there was a mermaid and merman.

Perhaps an episode of Home & Away when Max Sutherland discovers Tasha Andrews on the beach. As she can't speak English and she dives back into the sea he thinks she's a mermaid - although this was in 2003. Any help?
