Something is wrong with my cat, i am going to take him to the vet tomorrow, but wondered if anyone can help. He has lost his voice, and he has a big one!. And gone really floppy, no energy. he just pooped all over the carpet, and won't eat any food. He has gone and curled up under the bed away from us. Any suggestions, really concerned cat owner.
This sound serious. Tomorrow may be too late. Do you live in a large city/town? Some vets have A/H emergency service. Can you find/know of any cat breeders/clubs? Cat people may be a funny lot, but they'll move heaven and earth to help when a moggy is sick. Does your nearest RSPCA have a contact number? Do something NOW.
could he have ingested any poison? i really hope he's ok. we cat peoples ARE a funny lot, but we have one thing in common... we all understand how we love our moody moggies. please let us know the outcome x
i agree with the other answers, you must do something
straight away, tomorrow will be too late, did he go like this
after coming in from outside, cats usually take themselves
off somewhere when they know they are really ill, in the
meantime if u have any way of getting water down him do
this whilst taking him to the vet - NOW
I feel the same as garner. Please let us know how your cat is doing. I keep hoping for good news, keep coming back to see if there is note from you. Keeping fingers, toes etc crossed.
Thankyou everyone for your kind concern.. ...he is back to his normal noisy self again!!I treated him with homoeopathy for food poisoning and he did perk up. Then took him to the vet , as he came out of his carrier he passed a big gluk of mucus with a head to it ,from his bladder, followed by alot of urine. It turned out to be a bladder infection, and the lump of pus had residue e-coli. To get his water and fluid levels up feed him by mixing water in with his meat. Which io will continue to do cos think it is a good idea anyway...But he is back and thanks again to everyone that e-mailed me back.
