self tanning sprays

Do self tanning sprays act as a sun block as well?
We are going on holiday in June and my husband is VERY white and burns easily. I thought I would get him one of the tanning sprays, but would he need high factor protection as well or can this be combined in the tan ?
Can anyone recommend one please.

I dont know about the sprays but I have a sun tan lotion that has self tan in it. Got it from superdrug

Well its one where voucher was in sun for a free bottle so thought I�d try it and it isn�t that bad really, but maybe others out there that are better.

Its one of those ones that comes out in your skin so doesnt wash off

Oh and if out and about using on beach etc make sure you do wash hands afterwards as you don�t want orange fingers

Is that a suntan lotion too lofty?? And I didnt loftie I would still like a nice natural (not fake) tan but not get burned.

Yes it is 4get. I told you that on the other thread. You just didn't listen to me young lady. ;o).

Mr LL used my tanning lotion once instead of sun cream and put it on in the normal male fashion - slap it on! The effect was hilarious. He was not amused!

Ha ha yer I do I just wanted a good tan :-) which hey we�re not gonna get it in norfolk really are we. An ex of mine did a similar thing loftie, he came downstairs asking me if I had any hair mousse, I�d said I didn�t then went upstairs to find he�d been through my things and a bottle of my tanning mousse was on side with lid off. I found it hillarious watching his hairline get a deeper shade of brown through the day :-)
