Can anybody tell me the deepest natural harbour in the world and the deepest natural port please?

one of the deepest natural ports I believe is Halifax in Nova Scotia but this info seems to a bit vaguer on net and cant seem to find a definite answer! Sorry x

I'm confused how Canso Causeway (constructed 1952-55) qualifies as deepest natural harbour.

There does appear to be many candidates offering themselves as the world's 1st, 2nd and 3rd deepest natural harbours. In the frame for these positions are; Rio de Janeiro, Acapulco, Sydney, Prince Rupert, Halifax, Milford Haven, Falmouth, etc etc.

I have just been searching and the answers are various. However the result of my search shows the following, whether right or wrong I dont know

1 Trincomlee Sri Lanka, 2 Halifax 3. Falmouth.

Tried to find depths. Only one I could find was the first which is about 70 fathoms or 420 feet.
