cocktail sticks

i am doing a buffet for my sons christening tomorrow and a friend said i should do cheese, onion, tomato and pineapple on cocktail sticks can some one please tell me whats best to put on the sticks i.e which foods go together

Well cheese and a silverskin pickled onion and cheese and a cube of pineapple are traditional, but you could certainly try other things, eg cheese and a baby cherry tomato.

You cant really go wrong oldgrape, whatever is on a cocktail stick is normally tasty and it doesnt matter what goes with what.
