I have Man flu ...sniff sniff ...had it since yesterday...
You know how us men suffer in silence.
Been on sofa whole day , watching TV and surfing WEB on laptop.
Can someone rub some VIC in please.

On a course Monday in London. hope it's cleared by then.

not forgetting a bell (so you dont strain your voice) and the phone in case you need external sympathy.

Aaaaaah poor you. I know how you can feel better - pretend you are a woman.

Get up now and do the washing and ironing, clean the house, look after the kids, walk the dog, cook dinner etc.

Well Well you men have it good .A sniffle and your out of action.We woman have to carry on regardless of a cold .Who looks after the house who feeds the dog who cooks the meals who takes the kids to school.Nothing would be done if we lay on the sofa all day.

with man flu it is best to stay in bed for at least 2 weeks (unless pub is close to house and is warm and has cold beer) try not to do any heavy lifting. cans of beer or other liquid at regular intervals should be taken in large amounts.
plenty of rest and tv and you should be fine.

logic ...very good ...so funny that when I tried to laugh, i went into a coughing fit. spluter spluter ...now I have gob on my laptop ....and I have dropped the TV remote ...hold on I shout for the other half to come and pick it up ..I think she is hanging about in the Kitchen..doing whatever women do in the Kitchen.

You have my sympathy. Nothing worse than Man Flu.
My Hubby is suffering with it at the moment, just the same as yourself.
I get an update on how he is feeling every five minutes.
Thing is, I have a cold. Bad one at that.
I have been going to work every day, and all he says to me is "It could be worse, it could be me having to go to work with this flu!. lol
