I have enjoyed reading the replys to Wix'a what if thread. It made me think of might pet subject of the moment, I've been reading Max Brooks Zombie survival guide and World War Z, and I began to formulate plans just in case.
In the Guide it suggests you form a group of people useful and dear to u and make for a place as far from civilisation as you could.
If the zombie Hoards came banging at ur door do you have an escape plan? Who will u be taking with u and why? Where will you go? What weapons would u take? How would u get there? Keep in mind all main roads and motoer ways will probably be pack. The heed for fuel, and for weapons remember u need ammo lots of it.

For me H obviously, he's and engineer.
Oldest son, hes a communcations bod.
next son, scrounger and good with his hands.
youngest son, chef. got to have a good cook.
daughter just because she is and her srieking alone would be enough to scare away the walking dead.

weapon of choice.....long japanese sword.. good for a clean cut and keeps them at arms length without having to close contact. needs no ammo.

transport... alll terrain vehicle failing that push buke or on foot. the first will run out of fuel and the second two do not require fuel, are all terrain and silent. don't want to attract the little beggers.
