No Soliciting Sign

Hello Everybody,

Just wondering if anyone knows the correct wording for a no soliciting sign. We are having a lot of trouble with people coming to our door repeatedly and we are getting very fed up. Any advice greatly appreciated

First of all, get one of those spyholes fitted. Then put a sign up that says 'We never answer the door to salesmen or god botherers'. Then whenever there's a knock on the door, check through the spyhole and if you don't recognise the person, just ignore them.

you could do the same as me when my batteries were dead i bought some new ones and then i thought what is the point of putting new batteries in if people keep ringing my doorbell . i left the old ones in now nobody can ring my bell.problem solved

Here in Hampshire we have been issued with stickers by our County Council.
Sticker reads thus :-
We do NOT buy goods or services at the door.
PLEASE do not call.
People still occasionally knock and I just point at the notice and shut the door.

most people that do door to door selling will just ignore the signs anyhow.

There are schemes in place in some parts of the country where residents of road can "vote" their road to be a no go area for canvasing etc and companies and/or people can then be fined if they ignore this. I think thats a great idea.

other way round, surely IaP? Some states still have sodomy laws on their books, though I think they're now unconstitutional, and they don't just apply to gays, or males, and don't just mean sodomy. Be grateful for the liberties of southern England!
