If the stretch makrs are white there is not a lot you can do about them as they are basically the same as scars. If they are red you can by creams etc to fade them and eventually get rid of them. I know decleor did one, used to be called 'gel prolagene' but think they have changed the name to perfect contour or the likes. I know Clarins do an oil and a cream and also a bath and shower gel called tonic which helps to prevent them, i know a few pregnant ladies in the past tried them and they never recieved any stretch marks although i know some people just dont get them during pregnancy. If you do have white stretch marks the only thing i could suggest is maybe laser surgery or something but i dont know how this works for scarring really. Hope this helps anyway LL

ANUSOL ... more commonly used for .. ahem .. piles .. but greats for geeting rid of stretch marks and wrinkles .. also good to use on fresh tattoos.

try bio oil it works

8.95 frm boots holland and barrat superdrug

I have to back up Keirah on Bio Oil. It really does make a huge difference to any type of scarring.

Bio Oil is brilliant. You have to persevere and apply it twice a day but it smells nice and does fade them. also try a couple of blasts on a sunbed, the vitamin e fades them. (don't go mad tho!) also bio oil is brilliant for fine lines and wrinkles on the face! x

definetly agree bio oil does wonders . i had a baby & gosh all my stretch marks have dissapeared within 3 months

good luck

Hi ,
I have always had pretty bad stretch marks around my belly region ever since I gave birth to my three kids.I had tried Vitamin E oil and cocoa butter which a number of people had recommended but it didn't seem to work. My Doctor had even suggested a Tummy Tuck. I then recently read an article about a lady who supposedly got rid of her stretch marks using a particular cream. I tried it and it worked really well. My stretch marks disappeared in 3 weeks. You can read more about the lady's article at the link below.
