Cancellation fees?!?

hi there my ex and i booked a cruise with ncl which for obvious reasons we're not going, but thomas cook is now looking for �100 each as a cancellation fee on top of the deposit that we're already losing.
does this sound right before i go up there and kick up a fuss?

I presume the holiday involved air travel to the cruise embarkation point.

The NCL cancellation fee schedule makes mention of cruise deposit and $200 air fare for cancellation in excess of 30 days prior to departure...
