Old game on Acorn or Amiga

Please someone help! When i was in secondary school (1995-2000) there was a game we used, and i cannot remember the name or find it anywhere on the net. It was a 2D game with really simple colour graphics in which you had to manipulate objects in order to solve a puzzle or reach a goal. For example there would be a lazer in the top left of the screen and a balloon in the bottom right and by positioning mirrors etc you had to make the balloon burst. There were loads of scenarios/experiments and objects (boats, fans, mirrors, prisms, candles, torches etc.) i cannot remember which format it was on but the school only had acorns and amigas (dont know which models) also our school was a bit crap so no guarantee the game was published between 1995-2000, not much to go on i know but i'm going insane trying to remember, thanks.
