KM Links Game - May Week 3 Results

First I have some good news for you all - seekeers is fine. I've had an email from Steff and we were correct in assuming it was her computer that was on the blink. When she went to a friend's to use theirs - that failed too! Has someone put a jinx on you Steff? Steff hopes to be back on-line full-time before the end of the month and hopefully in time for next week's game. She asks me to convey her best wishes to everyone and says "I hope to be back permanently in the very near future - I never realised how much I'd miss the wretched thing!"


Some kind soul who does the Herculis crossword will hopefully be confident enough about their answers to post the links below. Once that happens, I will feed them into my spreadsheet and give you the results shortly afterwards.

I have now deliberated, cogitated and digested your offerings and can report that this week the links had many possibilities, but even so, 21 of you managed to score something. Was crofter amongst them? Wait and see . . .


First to score was the first entrant london_lassy who picked up the two points for GRANNY SMITH followed closely one minute later by Dizzy Lizzie who also claims a bonus.


Not satisfied with that, and trying to emulate crofter, Dizzy Lizzie also knocked off SPIDER PLANT and RHYTHM SECTION for a total of 6 points! ulysses100, lysander, & sarumite also matched RHYTHM SECTION within the time limit for bonus points so 2 points for each of them.


The final link of DATE LINE lasted 23 minutes into the game before paulineward snapped up its bonus points and also matched one other for a total of 3 points.


Other double hitters were Christiana & wickedtongue.


So what about crofter? He just managed a single match too late for any bonus points (along with 12 others).

At the top on
9 points we still have crofter
closely followed on
8 points by Dizzy Lizzie
and then we have
6 points - Chiefpanda, lysander & ulysses100
5 points - joto & JRB
4 points - Aquagility, Christiana, london_lassy, paulineward, sarumite & wickedtongue
