My partner and I want to move to Florida in about 5-10 years. I am unsure as to the process and any information would be helpful. Especially from those who have already done so, and can offer advice. My partner is a Fencing Operative (erects crach barriers) and I am in IT. So anything you think might help would be fantastic. Cheers

The US is notoriously difficult to work in Im sure there are other posts regarding this subject, I would say you have 2 hopes, Bob Hope and no hope.

Sorry!
Actually, the U.S. is in need of certain classes of workers and we are at near full employment. We don't have the national health care system experienced in the U.K., but it should be noted that a lot of Canadians (where they do have national helath care) travel to the U.S. for thier health related needs due to the frustrations in their own country.
