chelsea and man utd final

Listening on the radio today about the game betwen the best two teams in england.Was surprised to hear there were only 10 english players in the 2 teams.
Six on one side and four on the other side.

Is this a sign of the times?
Do you think that one day an english team will win a european cup with no english players atall?

it was brilliant final and i dislike both sides lots of english players on show and foreign players played in a great spirit, the other leagues are jealous of the premiership becasue quite simply it is the best league in the world

Im not a fan but I found it a gripping match to watch, shame the fans were so tired to be in full voice

talk about living in the past!!! This is such an out of date stale point of view!!! bob probably knows how long ago foreign players were allowed into the football league, and I can remember this debate raging with Chelsea 10 years ago!!

United had 9 Internationl players in the 1999 final, this final was just as nail biting. I donl;t believe you are actually a footie fan, or know enough about it generally to make such a silly comment or get involved in such a debate
