There is not a male equivalent.......and until recently it would have been one of the worst insults a man could throw at a woman......as no woman would refer to her 'sister' that way........I say until recently only because now it is all too common in rap and other forms of black or street music. Because of this it has become diluted and 'acceptable. It is -to me deeply offensive..tho not as bad as the horrific "c" word......there must surely be other ways to get a point or observation about a person across without resorting to this,particularly in the political arena.
