When you sell your house you are expected to give answers to certain standard questions for the benefit of the buyer. These include:
"Do you know of any disputes or anything which might lead to a dispute about this or any neighbouring property?"
"Have you received any complaints about anything you have, or have vot, done as owner?"
"Have you made any such complaints to any neighbour about what the neighbour has or has not done?"
You must answer these questions honestly, or you will be misrepresenting the situation to the buyer, and could face a claim.
If there was a dispute and it is now settled then it should not put off a buyer.
